I don't think I've ever been really faithful to a particular style. I tend to go back and forth between braidouts and bantu knot outs without picking a favorite between the two. Each style has its pluses and minuses.
BRAIDOUT
Pros:
Takes only a few minutes to set
Dries over night
Shows a bit of hair length
Cons:
Have to be redone every night
Not travel friendly (have to pack the rollers, spray bottle, etc)
BANTU KNOT OUT
Pros:
Super cute!
Can last a few days without re-doing
Takes seconds to M&S, then pin up at night
Travelers delight! You just need your regular products and a few pins to maintain
Cons:
Takes forever to set initially
Take forever to dry
Shrinks your hair considerably
