How to Maintain a Braidout

A while ago, I hit you with a braid out tutorial. One thing I didn't cover in this video was how to maintain the braid out. It was actually very simple. I pulled my hair into a ponytail that sat basically on my forehead. Having the length of hair that I have, that put the hair all in my face. I fanned out this loose hair and rolled it into a very loose bun. The whole goal was to not pull or stretch out my hair with the ponytail or the bun. I popped a satin bonnet on top of everything and called it a night.

Maintaining my hair in this way, my braidout lasted three days before I needed to reset it. Resetting is also very easy. Moisturize the hair again if necessary, braid it back up, spray a little water on it, and enjoy your refreshed hair the next morning. My refreshed hair earned me an additional two days out of the style.
