Video | Grow Healthy Hair - From The Inside Out

We often focus on the outside when it comes to our hair growth. The amount of creams, potions, and elixirs on the market are endless. Let's take a step back and focus on our health first. The hair growth will follow.

Drink More Water

I know, I know. You don't like the taste of water. You don't have time to drink water. However, I've got a few excuse busters for you.
  • Use water enhancers (as unnatural as they are)
  • Dilute real juice with mostly water
  • Infuse frozen fruit
  • Buy fun water bottles, tumblers, and cups

Eat REAL food

Eat more fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes! These foods are nutritious and cheap. Peasant food anyone? Cut back on the packaged, commercial-having foods.

Take a Multivitamin

This is your backup plan. This is your insurance policy. Find yourself a good multivitamin to help you meet your nutritional needs. In the video I show what I'm currently taking NutrientWise MultiVitamins. These chewable green tablets have added green coffee, green tea, and spinach powder in addition to being a multivitamin. I take two of these a day--one in the morning and one in the evening. The flavor makes it like popping a mint!

Get Adequate Sleep

We take sleep for granted in our modern society. Sleep is an important time for healing and refreshing. Get more done earlier in your day so you can close your eyes for a decent time each night. I like to use iPhone's Bedtime feature paired with the recommended sleep times chart.

Exercise

Exercise is great for getting your blood flowing. You don't have to be out in these streets like an athlete. Aim to do SOMETHING for 15-20 minutes each day. I really like youtube/dvd workouts and my Nike Training App.
