This hair of the day is a chunky twistout with braided roots. I washed and conditioned my hair, then moisturized with Soultanicals Knot Sauce and sealed with Naokeidoe Creations Deluxe Pomade. I normally wouldn't seal with an oil or oil based product but I left my hair to dry for most of the day before coming back to style.
I styled my hair with Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic. I braided each section about halfway, then switched to twisting. My logic was that I could get more than two parts when I take the braid/twist down since it takes 3 parts to braid. Also, twists are easier to take down than braids done all the way to the ends.
My hair is crazy soft and held up to the high humidity.
