Winter Dryness Battle | How I Plan to Keep My Hair Moisturized This Winter

I am waging a war on dry hair this Winter! The weather here in Alabama is trying to get cold (50 one day, then 80 the next) and with Winter comes the possibility of dry hair. Here's what I will be doing to ward of winter dryness and it'd be great if you all would join me in this.

NO MORE EXPERIMENTATION
I am a new natural and thus naturally want to experiment and try new things with my  hair. After all, I don't know all that my hair can and can't do. I'm putting the curiosity on the back burner and sticking to twists for the entire winter.

LOTS OF WATER DRINKING
In the winter people are less motivated to drink water. Seriously, who wants a cold glass of water when its freezing outside. This decrease in water leads to dry skin and hair. I'm making more of an effort to get my glasses in daily.

BAGGYING
This is where the twists come in handy. I want to baggy my hair at least one night out of the week. Baggying BATHES your hair in moisture because it open the cuticles up (the heat) to receive it.

HEAVY SEALING
I'm shopping for grease y'all. I am going to be doing "heavy sealing" which is again why I am doing twists because my hair doesn't like a lot of product. It gets stringy looking. More info on heavy sealing here.

My hair should be super moisturized by the end of the winter. I will pick up more "loose styling" and techniques in the spring/summer months. I hope I can stick to this.
